I uploaded a very simple test project so you guys can easily test jsonfx with your version of Unity + iOS. Create an object from its JSON representation. Typically classes, methods and properties are PascalCase (i.e., start with a capital letter) and fields are camelCase (i.e., start with a lowercase letter). Is anyone still using jsonfx successfully on iOS with the latest Unity? Finally, unless C naming conventions are different when using Unity (Iâve never used Unity but I wrote JsonFx so Iâm familiar with C), then you have a lot of things going on. Every test fails except for the string test. You can test serialization / deserialization of data structures with ints, uints, floats, and strings. I know it's not my game code because I made a really simple test project with only the jsonfx dll file and a single script to test it. afaik jsonfx does not include type information in the resulting json, so during deserialization it has no way of knowing what type to deserialize to except for the base type given in the model. Well take it as a simple primitive and an array-just to demonstrate the functionality. Our Data Classes: The Readme Readme file from the Jsonfx zip file contains a list of supported data types. It still works fine in the editor but on iOS it fails when trying to deserialize (serialization still works) ints, uints, or floats. ago I don't think you can do that easily with jsonfx. Download it and drag it to the Unity project and put it in the plugins file. I wish I knew exactly when but I expect it is whenever the last Unity version came out, which was a couple weeks ago IIRC. The Unity project is located in src/Unity. The dictionary contains both primitive and complex variable types (such lists). Install Unity-JsonFX-2.0.unitypackage in your Unity project ( Assets->Import Package->Import Custom Package.). ![]()
